Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

Apple would sue... if they could find Psystar.

One Spec missing on the Psystar vs. the Mini is compliance with the EULA on OS X. I'd say that's fatal.

I like the blurb on their support page that they do not support system updates. I do not think that I would be comfortable with an unpatched system of any type -- Mac, Linux or Windows.

Really though, Mac Mini's aren't that expensive. I mean, a Mac Pro for half the price I would take a little more seriously, but undercutting Apple's bottom-of-the-line machine doesn't sound like much of a business plan.

Psystar isn't a real company...It's two brothers with a host of fake companies registered in Florida. Scam artists, to be sure.

Well, if not scam artists, then vapourware.

vapourware.

It usta be that only software was Vaporware. Now we've moved into the Vapor-Hardware reality. Trippy.

Nah, there's been hardware vaporware for a long time. I used to hear about vaporware products (hardware) all the time in the 80's and early 90's.

The last widespread hardware vapourware I remember was some game system... I think it was called the Phantom, ironically enough.

Yeah, that was a pretty famous one.

Back when Atari was in the computer business, they were famous for announcing new hardware (and showing working prototypes) at Comdex, then never shipping. Lots of Atari vaporware. A few examples:

Atari 1450XLD

Atari 1060 CP/M Add-On Module

Atari 1090 XL Expansion System

Atari STylus

Atari ATW 800 (This was sort of existed, but in such low quantity that it's still considered vaporware...it was never officially available commerically.)

Atari MicroBox

Atari Falcon040

ASV UNIX (Atari SVr4) (The developer's release was shipped to developers, and an initial run of the final release was made, but never distributed. Several years ago I *almost* got my hands on a copy, but in the end I couldn't afford what the guy was asking.)
