Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

Somebody said on MSNBC the other day “ I just don’t get it.” Why Hillary Clinton as a Secretary of State? All right, let’s see all the considerations given to us by the media. First, Obama wants to get rid of Senator Clinton in the Senate, so she is not a strong opposition to him there. I don’t think she has given any indication that she would be an opposition to his agenda. Secondly, if that’s the reason, Obama is insecure about himself as a President being able to get his views around? I doubt that. I think (or I hope) he is pretty confident. After all he won overwhelmingly. So this argument that he is choosing H.Clinton for that reason does not stand.

Another reason given to us is that somehow Hillary Clinton has an international experience, but like many reporters point out her experience is the one of the former first lady. Obama said that himself during the campaign. Also, I am not sure about the notion that the whole world knows her and likes her. The world likes Bill Clinton I think as a recognition of his accomplishments as former US president. So - let’s see - no foreign experience to speak of, not a really big rival of Obama in the Senate to be afraid of, not a real good friend of Obama’s either; has a different opinion how to negotiate (remark about obliterating Iran),

certainly is not going to be the one who is very diplomatic, we saw her harsh style during the campaign. Am I missing something here? May be Obama is choosing H. Clinton because she is a super star and Obama wants to have a team of stars. So, he wants the world be talking about Clintons again not Obama? And how about this one: Each time H.Clinton talks to world leaders they would scratch their heads thinking: Is it Obama’s idea or Clinton’s? Also, doesn’t the President-Elect want to get all the credit for accomplishments on the foreign policy arena? With H.Clinton as a Secretary of State I think she will get all the credit. Also, it came on the news today that Obama’s team wants assurance from the Clinton team that H. Clinton will be a team player! So, they are not quite sure?

Why not just to save yourself a headache of constantly worrying about all that and appoint someone safe, someone you can trust implicitly so that priority is given to developing sound foreign policy not relationships within people involved into foreign policy decisions.

Anyway, “ I just don’t get it“.

Just thought I'd drop by to see how it's going.  Obviously it's the same old, same old.  People need to grow up.  Hillary is a very smart, dynamic woman.  Get over it.

We're all so weary of the hate and assumptions.  If you're a Republican, every choice by dems is bad and wrong.  And it's somewhat the same in reverse.

Stop wringing your hands over every little detail and try to enjoy life and be proud of the United States of America.   Never seems to occur to some people that we can back each other up and do what's best for the country.  Some think "Country First" was a phony slogan, maybe it was, but you know, it just could work.
